Mid America Pet Food is voluntarily recalling one lot of Victor Super Premium Dog Food Hi-Pro Plus because it may be contaminated with Salmonella.
The affected product consists of 644 cases sold in 5-pound bags with lot code 1000016385 with Best By Date 4/30/2024. Lot code information is found on the back of the bag.
This voluntary recall is being issued due to a single sample of Victor Super Premium Dog Food that tested positive for Salmonella in a random sample test conducted by the South Carolina Department of Agriculture.
Do not feed the recalled product to pets or any other animals.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is cautioning pet owners not to feed their pets certain lots of Darwin’s Natural Pet Products raw cat and dog food, made by Arrow Reliance Inc., after FDA samples from the lots listed below tested positive for Salmonella.
1. Darwin’s Natural Pet Products Natural Selections Chicken Recipe with Organic Vegetables for Dogs, Lot 9774, manufactured on Jun 13, 2023.
2. Darwin’s Natural Pet Products Natural Selections Chicken Recipe for Cats, Lot 9795, manufactured on Jun 28, 2023.
3. Darwin’s Natural Pet Products Natural Selections Chicken Recipe for Cats, Lot 9830, manufactured on Jul 19, 2023.
The products are in white and clear plastic packages. The dog food has blue labeling, and the cat food has blue and green labeling. Each package weighs two pounds and consists of four separate units. The lot codes are printed on the front of the lower left unit of the package.
If you have these lots of pet food from Darwin’s Natural Pet Products, or you can’t be sure of the lot code of the products you have, throw them away. Do not feed them to your pets.
The FDA has posted an Enforcement Report regarding dried sardines from a brand known as What The Raw.
This recall includes Single Dried Sardine packaged in shrink wrap, individually sold, with no labeling on the product.
The impacted product(s) may potentially be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum.
According to the Enforcement Report, 184 containers are impacted and the product was distributed to retail locations in OH (in 2022 and 2023) and PA (in 2021 and 2022).

Ark Naturals has announced a voluntary recall for three of its products due to mold concerns.
The company has said that they recently learned that a supplier inadvertently omitted a mold-inhibiting ingredient from the formulation for these products.

Stratford Care USA, Inc of Odessa, Florida is recalling multiple brands of Omega-3 Supplements for cats and dogs due to potentially elevated levels of Vitamin A.
Stratford Care USA, Inc is taking this action after receiving a single Serious Adverse Event from a sole consumer regarding their dogs’ exhibiting signs of Vitamin A toxicity after consuming the supplement.
No other Stratford Care USA, Inc products are affected.
Omega-3 Supplements for cats and dogs was distributed throughout the United States in Veterinary Clinics, Distribution Centers, Retail Stores, and Online Market Places such as Amazon and Chewy.
The white plastic container containing 60 soft gels has the marking on the bottom of the container that states "lot 31133 EXP 04/13/23" and "lot 30837 EXP 10/26/22", this product has been private labeled under various brand names, please see the list below.

The expansion comes following an investigation prompted by Purina that uncovered new information about a production error from a U.S. supplier that was made only to this specific formula and resulted in potentially elevated levels of vitamin D.
